Hearing set on Resolution Copper land exchange bill

We heard from Resolution Copper that the House Natural Resources Subcommittee on National Parks, Forests and Public Lands will hold a hearing on the Resolution Copper land exchange bill (H.R. 1904) on Tuesday, 14 June at 7 a.m. Arizona time. Those delivering testimony on behalf of Resolution Copper include company Vice President Jon Cherry, Pinal County Supervisor Bryan Martyn and Town of Superior Mayor Michael Hing. Also scheduled to testify, presumably in opposition, are Harrison Talgo, San Carlos Apache Tribe, Shan Lewis, President Inter Tribal Council of Arizona and Vice-Chairman Fort Mojave Indian Tribe, and Roger Featherstone, Arizona Mining Reform Coalition.

Live streaming of the hearing will be available on the House Natural Resources Committee website.
