Big batch of new potash coreholes permitted

Passport Potash has received permits from the Arizona Oil & Gas Conservation Commission for an additional 16 exploration coreholes in the Holbrook basin potash deposit.  The permits, numbered #1101 - 1116, are posted online at http://www.azogcc.az.gov/permits.  [Right, core rig on earlier drilling operation.  Credit, Passport Potash]

 The holes need to be permitted because the drill through geologic zones that could contain, oil, gas, helium, or carbon dioxide.

More than 100 core holes have been drilled by companies in the area in the current exploration programs.
